Anwar Rasheed and Dulqar Salman Team up for ‘Usthad Hotel’
It has been some time since we saw Anwar Rasheed making a film. The last time though, he had wowed us all with that incredible short film ‘Bridge’ in the anthology film ‘Kerala Cafe’. The audience that got to see the film were dumbstruck by the film that was considered by many to be the best of the films in the anthology.
News has filtered in that Anwar would not be doing a superstar film now, but would rather be making a film with Dulqar Salman in the lead role. Anwar, it should be remembered has an impressive track record till now, with all his three full length feature films turning out to be super duper hits.
Anwar’s new film would be scripted by director Anjaly Menon, who had directed films as ‘Manjadikkuru’ and the short film ‘Happy Journey’. Her new film with Anwar is rumoured to be a different kind of a thriller, and would be shot on locations at Switzerland, Rajasthan, Mumbai and Kozhikode.
Nithya Menon would be the heroine of ‘Usthad Hotel’. Thilakan would be donning a very important role in the film as well. The film would be produced by Listin Stephen, producer of films like ‘Traffic’ and ‘Chaappa Kurish’.
