‘Thira’ would be my first thriller film: Vineeth Sreenivasan

If you thought Prithviraj would be upset at being made fun of, you better think again. When asked in an interview in a leading Malayalam film weekly recently as to what he thought of the numerous text messages and videos doing the rounds on the internet that made potshots at him, Prithvi says that he is simply happy being a topic of discussion.

Prithvi doesn’t believe that fans of the two Megastars of Malayalam cinema, Mammootty and Mohanlal, are the ones behind all this attention that is being showered on him. He says that he has talked of Mammootty and Mohanlal, only when he has been asked about them. He has also made a confession that he is a much bigger admirer of both Mammootty and Mohanlal, than these fans.

Prithvi says that he shouldn’t be crucified for his statements, without their meaning being properly understood. When quizzed about Asif Ali being hurt on one of his statements, Prithvi shrugs and says that he doesn’t remember having said anywhere that actors who have entered the industry after him are not serious about their work.

Prithvi is currently busy shooting for ‘Indian Rupee’ that is being directed by Ranjith. He is also looking forward to his Onam release ‘Tejabhai and Family’ and also his forthcoming Amal Neerad film in which he would once again be teaming up with Mammootty after the megahit ‘Pokkiriraja’.
