Padmapriya and Lekshmi Rai with Mammootty and Lal in Cobra

Submitted by on October 31, 2011 – 7:59 pmNo Comment |

Cobra is a project that has already become the talk of the town. What with Lal directing the film, and Mammootty and Lal himself playing co-brothers, this comic – action caper is expected to be a mass entertainer that would set the box office bells jingling.

The film, would have two heroines – Padmapriya and Lekshmi Rai. Padmapriya has been seen along with Mammootty even earlier in films like ‘Kazhcha’, ‘Rajamanickyam’ and ‘Pazhassi Raja’, and all these films have been success stories as well.

There is also a whole lot of actors joining Mammootty and Lal in the film, like Salim Kumar, Lalu Alex and Harisree Ashokan. While Mammootty plays a character by the name of Raja, Lal plays a character by the name of Kari in the film.

Lal hopes to repeat the ‘Thommanum Makkalum’ blockbuster magic again with ‘Cobra’. The title card of ‘Cobra’ has been recently released, and the shoot of the film that would be scripted by the director himself is expected to start shortly.
