I haven’t been Offered a James Cameron Film: Lakshmi Rai
Lakshmi Rai, who would soon be seen in the Priyadarshan – Mohanlal film ‘Arabiyum Ottakavum P Madhavan Nairum’ to be released this week, says that she believes that she has a homely image in Malayalam films.
“Though I am known as a glamorous actress in all the four languages that I have acted in – Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada – I have also been lucky to get various kinds of roles in all these langauges. In Malayalam, I do have a girl-next-door image,” says Lakshmi.
“I hope I would be able to do a Bollywood film in the recent future. A few offers are definitely there. But I cannot divulge any further details, since the other details haven’t yet been finalised. I’m just keeping my fingers crossed,” the actress adds.
Lakshmi dispels the rumors regarding an offer that she got to act in a James Cameron film. “It’s true that I did meet the legendary director on the location of ‘Arabiyum Ottakavum P Madhavan Nairum’. But I haven’t got an invitation to act in his film. At least not until now. But if I do get an offer, that would be a dream come true for me,” the lovely actress smiles.
