Madhuri Dixit says Yes to Dedh Ishqiya!
Fans of Madhuri Dixit could finally heave a sigh of relief. The actress who had returned to India recently, has been considering several film offers, and has finally said ‘Yes’ to a project.
Madhuri would be doing the female lead in ‘ Dedh Ishqiya’, a sequel to ‘Ishqiya’ that was a much critically acclaimed film that starred Vidya Balan, Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi.
Naseer, says news reports, wont be there in the sequel. Irrfan Khan would take up his role instead, and Madhuri would be seen romancing Irrfan. Arshad would be seen in there in ‘Dedh Ishqiya’, and he has been paired opposite Kangana Ranaut in the film.
The two men of ‘Ishqiya’ would carry their journey forward in the sequel, and would fall in love with two other women this time. Madhuri, who has been rejecting quite a lot of offers lately, was reportedly maha-impressed by what she heard about Dedh Ishqiya, that she immediately agreed to do the project! ‘Ishqiya’ was directed by Abhishek Chaubey and produced by Vishal Bhardwaj.
