Mamta Mohandas Ties the Knot

One of the most loved actresses of our times, Mamta Mohandas got married today to her family friend and Bahrain-based businessman Prajith Padmanabhan. The wedding was an elegant event that was held at a hotel ay Kozhikode.It was attended by a few friends from the film industry, as well as close relatives and family. She had got engaged to Prajith about a month back at Moovattupuzha.

Mamta entered the industry with the film ‘Mayookham’ directed by Hariharan. That was way back in 2005, and ever since she has acted in about thrity films, in three different South Indian languages.  She has also dispalyed her talents as a singer in recent times.

Mamta has been much appreciated for the roles that she had done recently in films like Sathyan Anthikkad’s ‘Katha Thudarunnu’. The actress has been doing the lead role in Shyamaprasad’s new film ‘Arike’, along with Dileep and Samvrutha Sunil.
