Not having a Godfather has been a Disadvantage: Bhavana
Bhavana, who is getting all geared up for her new biggie release ‘Arabiyum Ottakavum P Madhavan Nairum’ with Mohanlal and Priyadarshan, feels that not having a Godfather in the industry, has cost her dearly. The lovely actress feels that since she has never had a proper guide in the industry, several huge offers have slipped away from her fingers.
Bhavana feels that it’s just not enough that you are pretty or that you have oodles of talent, in the film industry. Your ability to take the right decisions at the right moment, matters a lot as well. “I’ve never had someone who could instruct me as to how I had to move forward. I have lost several good films owing to this. And I have also had to become a part of several lousy projects,” says Bhavana.
Bhavana says that she would act in Malayalam films, only if the offer is real good, like the one that she recently did – ‘Arabiyum Ottakavum P Madhavan Nairum’. She makes it clear she wouldn’t do films just for the sake of doing them. She has also revealed that she was indeed offered a film from Bollywood, but had refused the offer, since she was not comfortable with the role.
