My Friend Pinto (2011) Review Aggregator

Submitted by on October 14, 2011 – 6:55 pmNo Comment | 26 views

My Friend Pinto is a film directed by Raaghav Dar starring Prateik Babbar, Kalki Koechlin, Arjun Mathur, Shruti Seth, Makrand Deshpande, Raj Zutshi & Divya Dutta. The film has been produced by Ronnie Screwvala & Sanjay Leela Bhansali. These are how the critics opinions look like:

DNA India thinks it will bring a smile to your face: “My Friend Pinto is one happy, no-frills film that’s sure to make you smile. As one of the characters rightly says, a smile is what we need the most sometimes. Recommended.”

Hindustan Times sounds excited as well: “These are interesting times. Different voices. Newer faces. Still Bollywood. The material here may be a lot better than the movie. But it doesn’t quite disappoint you still. Which is great to know. And you should be good to go.”

Rediff feels it lacks focus though: “At the grand finale Ragaav Dar summarily commentates on the lessons embedded in the script. Doesn’t say much for his story-telling abilities. See this only if you are a Prateik Babbar fan. Else avoid.”
