Prasad Nooranad to Soon Start his First Feature Film!
Prasad Nooranad is a well renowned figure in the Malayalam television industry. He has been active as a director on television for the last fourteen years. Prasad has directed several popular serials as ‘Veetamma’, ‘Nombarapoovu’, ‘Bhamini Tholkkarilla’ and ‘Randamathoraal’. And now, Prasad is all set to start the shooting of his first feature film in Malayalam.
The film is based on a story by the director himself. Prasad would however be working on a script that has been penned by scenarist Babu Janardhanan. Babu who had recently turned director with the critically acclaimed ‘Bombay March 12′, had earlier scripted films like ‘City of God’, ‘Vaasthavam’ and ‘Achanurangatha Veedu’, most of which have been much appreciated.
Prasad’s film would star newcomers in the major roles, while two well-known actresses would do key roles. The cast and the crew is still being finalized, and the hunt for fresh actors is still on. This film would be produced by Nagaraj under the banner of Alakapuri Films. Shoot of the film would start in February 2012.
Prasad Nooranad hopes to create a film that appeals to the sensibilities of the discerning film viewer. Here s wishing the director and his crew the very best in their debut venture.
