vanthaan vendraan movie poster 2011 1020696668 300x201 Vanthaan Vendraan (2011) Review AggregatorVanthaan Vendraan, written and directed by R. Kannan that stars Jeeva, Nandha and Taapsee Pannu in lead roles has been released. The reviews are strictly mixed!

Rediff finds it disappointing: “Unfortunately, the screenplay falls apart spectacularly. The mildly engaging first half, with the antics of Santhanam, works slightly, but in the second half with its supposed cat-and-mouse games, silly plot twists and melodramatic climax, you can do little but sigh with disappointment.”

Sify terms it average: “There are a few nice touches here and there, mostly the sincere attempts of the lead actors, locations and song picturisation but most of the scenes lack the energy that was required to make it interesting. Hence the pace drags and boredom sets in.”

Behind Woods thinks its average fare as well: “Kannan has done a fairly neat job and VV is likely to appeal to family audience as there are no cringe-worthy scenes or dialogues and the film is reasonably engaging.”
