The Desi Pink Panther: Chatur Singh Two Star
Chatur Singh – Two Star is a Hindi action comedy film, directed by Ajay Chandhok. It stars Sanjay Dutt, Suresh Menon, and Amisha Patel in the lead roles. The film has been reported to be heavily inspired by the Pink Panther series that had a loonie cop taking on crimes of all kinds.
He knows everything about nothing… and he’s on a mission to destroy himself! thus goes the tagline of Chatur Singh – Two Star. He is an officer of the Mumbai Police Department who has lived almost all his life making a fool of himself. And this time, he takes off on a tour to South Africa, on a secret mission, with disastrous effects on all around him.
Sajid Ali has written the title lyrics of the film. Sajid-Wajid have composed the musical score. The film has been shot on locations in India as well as in Cape Town, South Africa. It has been in the making for a few years, since its announcement in late 2007.
Amisha Patel who hasnt been seen around much lately, will be back with a bang through the film. The posters of the film look quite promising and so does the trailer that has been recently released. The film has been produced by Mohammed Aslam and Parag Sanghvi.
