The Terror Chronicles: Bombay March 12 explores issues of identity

Babu Janardhanan, the State Award winning scenarist turns to direction with’Bombay March 12′, through which he explores issues of identity, as experienced by the common man. The film stars Mammootty, along with a host of other stars like Roma, Krishna, Lal and Shari.
The film is set against the backdrop of the riots and blasts that rocked Mumbai on March 12, 1993. It talks of how the lives of common men are thrown into turmoil forever, and how individuals find themselves as aliens in their own home turfs in times of crisis. It addresses multiples issues as religion, power and hatred and chronicles a few days of terror that almost tore the country apart.
The film carries excellent pre-release reports. The musical score of the film has been composed by Afzal Yusuf, while Vipin Mohan is the cinematographer. Vijay Shanker has edited the film. ‘Bombay March 12′ has been produced by Haneef Muhammed under the banner of Red Rose Creations.
