No plans to shift base to Bollywood: Prithviraj

Chatur Singh Two Star has been in the making for quite a while, and the film that stars Sanjay Dutt and Amisha Patil, that tells the story of a desi Pink Panther, has been released. Critics have been too harsh in panning the movie, and here is what they have to say.

Rediff gives it a No-Star rating: “Chatur Singh Two Star is the worst instance of Bollywood attempting slapstick with ostensibly A-grade outlook. What you get is a headache-inducing recipe. Sorry, Inspector Chatur Singh. You leave me with no option but to snatch away even the self-awarded two stars.”

NDTV Movies follows suit as well, with a No-Star Rating: “Chatur Singh Two Star is a classic demonstration of how not to make an action comedy. The script is completely harebrained, the acting is outrageously bad, the dialogue utterly inane, and the ‘comic’ gags are, to say the least, so awfully brainless that they might raise some laughs for all the wrong reasons.”

Zee News is kinder and gives it One star: “‘Chatur Singh Two Star’ is a classic bad comedy, which offers nothing except pedestrian stuff, asinine dialogues, sick gags and small laughter is what the film is all about. Sanjay, who is at the wrong side of age and shape, looks terribly jaded in the lead role.”
