Hum Tum Shabana to Arrive in September
Hum Tum Shabana does sound an intriguing title for a film, and director Sagar Bellary who had earlier directed Bheja Fry is confident about his new film that stars Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and Minissha Lamba along with Pia Trivedi, Satish Kaushik and Sanjay Mishra.
The film is expected to be a rollicking comedy, that would silence cynics who have been doubtful about Sagar’s directorial talents after the debacle of Bheja Fry 2.
The film was also in the news since the makers had to change the promos of their upcoming film Hum Tum Shabana, after producers of Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal series Shri Astavinayak objected to a segment of the teaser. The plan was to feature two lines from Sagar Ballary that featured the Golmaal actors Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade. This was not something that Shri Astavinayak took kindly to, and the promos had to be changed.
Hum Tum Shabana has been produced by Sunil Chainani, Sameer Chand and Subhash Dawar under the banner of Horseshoe Pictures Pvt. Ltd. and Alliance Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. The film is a September 2011 release.
