Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, stars Imran Khan, Katrina Kaif and Ali Zafar in the lead roles. It has been written and directed by debutante director Ali Abbas Zafar. Produced and distributed by Yash Raj Films, the film is a romantic comedy set around a love triangle.

Its learned that the film is a joy ride, and that Imran plays a young man who falls head over heels in love with his brother’s fiancee. There have been rumours that the film is a rip off of the Hollywood flick ‘Dan in Real Life’. However these reports have been unconfirmed as yet.

Ali Abbas Zafar, has already worked as an assistant director on a number of Yash Raj Films productions such as Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, Tashan, New York and Badmaash Company.

The musical score and the songs of the film are composed by Sohail Sen, who had earlier composed the music of What’s Your Rashee?. Ali Abbas Zafar holds high hopes for his debut film, and thinks that it would be able to strike the right chord with the audience. Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is set to release on 9 September 2011.
