The film that takes a stand on terrorism has been well appreciated by the critics.

Rediff thinks the film is absolutely hard-hitting: “Scriptwriter Babu Janardhanan tells it like is. His stories are hard hitting and mostly based on real life incidents and he tackles the issue head on. A promising debut for scriptwriter Babu Janardhanan as a director.”

Nowrunning says its not an easy film to watch: “Bombay March 12 is a film that needs to be applauded for taking a definitive stand on what it intends to discuss. There is no ambiguity here; rather a seething and raw bruise is laid bare to be seen, and to be judiciously examined.”

Sify calls it above average: “Scenarist turned debutant director Babu Janardhanan’s Bombay March 12 has tried to bring in a different pattern to the narrative here. But, how much does it work is the obvious question. At best, it does in parts.”
