Sneha turns film producer!

As is the case with every festive season, there is a massive combat being planned between two films of the biggest stars of the Malayalam film indutsry, this Vishu as well. Mammootty’s ‘Doubles’  will arrive to tussle with Mohanlal’s ‘China Town’ on the 14th of April.

‘Doubles’ has been directed by debutante director Sohan Seenulal and has Nadia Moithu making a comeback of sorts, after a long while.  The film also stars Suraj Venjarammoodu, Saiju Kurup, Salim Kumar, Anoop Chandran, Bijukuttan and several others. Tapasi who has made a massive impact with ‘Aadukalam’ is the heroine. The film has been produced by K K Narayanadas under the banner of Reels on Wheels Entertainment.

‘China Town’ is a big budget film produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Ashirvad Cinemas and stars Mohanlal along with Dileep and Jayaram. It is thus a multi star film that has Kavya Madhavan, Dipasha and Poonam Bajwa as the heroines. There are also actors like Suraj Venjarammoodu, Jagathy, Deepu Karunakaran and Bindu Ashok in supporting roles. The film has been directed by the hit making director-duo Rafi and Mecartin, and is expected to be a rollicking comedy entertainer that would have the audienc begging for more!

While ‘China Town’ arrives in around a hundred centers, ‘Doubles’ will grace around seventy screens. The results would be out pretty soon, as to who the Vishu winner this year is going to be.
