Lucky Jokers (2011) Review Aggregator

Lucky Jokers malayalam movie posters 300x212 Lucky Jokers (2011) Review AggregatorSunil’s ‘Lucky Jokers’ that stars almost all the comedy stars of Malayalam doesn’t seem to be evoking much laughter at the box office. Critics have panned the film as being without much sense or logic. Take a look!

Sify says its not easy reviewing the film: “Scripted by comedian Saju Kodiyan, Lucky Jokers reminds some of those yesteryear comedies in Malayalam like Vinayan’s Kalyanasougandhikam and TulasiDas’ Kilukil Pambaram. With its loud brand of comedy, song n dances and melodrama, the film defies logic mostly.”

Nowrunning says its tough to sit through the movie: “Sunil’s ‘Lucky Jokers’ is a confused film that starts telling a story that happens somewhere and then digresses into a million other things with no intention of turning back again. It doesn’t aim to be much more than a nonsensical comedy, and even then fails to live up to its own expectations.”

Indiaglitz says that no one is lucky here: “Lucky Jokers, can be your movie if you are the type who  throw your thinking caps out of the window  for managing a few laughs. In fact, those rib tickling wits are also few and far in between the narratives, though the makers seems to have  taken the movie, too lightly that it could be.”
