Submitted by on December 20, 2011 – 7:07 pmNo Comment |

The Pongal festival of 2012 would see Vijay’s much anticipated film ‘Nanban’ gracing the screens. The film, which is a remake of the much acclaimed Hindi film ‘3 Idiots’ has been directed by S Shankar.  The film’s lead actor Vijay says that he had a blast shooting for the film!

Vijay seems to have had loads of fun with his co-stars Jeeva and Srikanth. The star admits that Shankar is one of the best directors he has worked with. It has been worth the long wait to work with this amazing director, adds Vijay.

The soundtrack and background score is composed by Harris Jayaraj, and this would be the second time that Harris would be working with Shankar. Earlier they had joined hands for the super hit film ‘Annyan’. Vijay says that of all the numbers, ‘Aska Aska’ is his favorite song.

‘Nanban’ revealed recently that the off-screen chemistry that he shared with his co-stars in ‘Nanban’ was simply amazing. He even recounted an incident when they had to almost literally stop shooting the climax of the film, when he burst out into laughter at one of Jeeva’s antics. Millions of fans of the actor are already looking forward to the 13th of January 2012.
