A biopic being planned on Adoor Bhasi
A biopic is being planned on the life and career of one of the greatest of comedians ever in Malayalam films, Adoor Bhasi. Suku Menon is the man behind this much ambitious project that would be scripted by B Harikumar, who happens to be the late actor’s nephew.
Adoor Bhasi was almost always cast as the man who stands next to the hero. His hilarious actions and roles became the cynosure of comic scenes in the Malayalam films of the 1950s, 60s, 70s and 80s. He is also famous for his eloquent speeches in fluent English. He directed three Malayalam films during the late 1970s.
The rest of the cast and crew are being finalised, and it’s not yet known as to who would get to play the legendary actor on screen. The announcement of the project has already managed to rake up the interest of film lovers in the state, who would forever remember Bhasi as one of their favorite actors.
