When you think of the best couples that you have ever got to see on the Indian screen, how could you forget Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha who gave us such wonderful films as Do Anjaane (1976), Muqaddar Ka Sikander (1978), Mr Natwarlal (1979), Suhaag (1979) Silsila (1981)?

Big B when recently asked if he would ever do a film again with Rekha, replied that he had no issues whatsoever, provided the script was an exciting one. Amitabh Bachchan, was interacting with media personnel, as a part of the promotional events of his upcoming film ‘Department’ when he made the revelation.

Much has been written about Bachchan and Rekha, and over the years, both of them have been quizzed repeatedly about their on screen and off screen lives. However, it remains that it would be a casting coup of sorts, if a film maker does manage to get them together on screen ever again!
