Aamir Khan’s ‘Satyamev Jayate’ irks Rajasthan minister
‘Satyamev Jayate’, Aamir Khan’s much popular reality show on television might have earned him millions of admirers, but looks like someone is really irked. It’s Rajasthan’s Minister of State for Health, Sri. Rajkumar Sharma who has voiced his displeasure at the show.
Rajkumar Sharma feels that Aamir Khan’s television show is more of a tactic of the actor to make some quick money, and has very little to do with genuine concern that he feels for social issues. He also felt that the show has been totally unfair to Rajasthan, when in reality there were other states that fared much poorer than Rajasthan.
Satyamev Jayate is the first show ever in the history of Indian Television to be aired simultaneously on a private channel network STAR and a national broadcaster Doordarshan. The show is also dubbed in several languages including three Indian southern languages viz., Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam, along with Marathi and Bengali. It would be aired every Sunday at 11.00 AM.
