Amitabh Bachchan all impressed by singer Mika!

What better compliment could singer Mika receive, when the biggest of all stars in the country, Amitabh Bachchan himself admitted recently that he was impressed by Mika’s voice?! Apparently Big B is all praise for the song ‘Kammo’ that Mika has done for him the film ‘Department’.

Amitabh Bachchan also added that for long, he has been following Mika’s songs, especially after his brother Daler Mehndi came under the spot light with a number of hit numbers. Mika is a highly acclaimed Punjabi singer, known for his large audiences at shows, once even as large as 90,000 people. He has sung in films like ‘Jab We Met’ and ‘Singh is King’.

‘Department’ stars Amitabh Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles, along with Telugu star Rana Daggubati. There is also Vijay Raaz, Abhimanyu Singh, Lakshmi Manchu and Nathalia Kaur in supporting roles. The action thriller that is being produced by Siddhant Oberoi and Amit Sharma would grace the screens on the 18th of May, 2012.
