Submitted by on April 17, 2012 – 3:42 amNo Comment | 224 views

Anoop Menon would do the lead role in ace cinematographer M D Sukumaran’s directorial venture ‘Thakkol’ that would start shooting shortly. Meera Nandan would play the female lead opposite Anoop in the film; earlier they had been seen together in the anthology film ‘Kerala Cafe’, in the short film ‘Mrithyunjayam’.

The film has been scripted by Babu Mathews. Sai Kumar, Siddique, Kottayam Naseer, Devan, Irshad, Suraj Venjarammoodu, Tini Tom, Saiju Kurup, Irshad, T P Madhavan and Kalashala Babuwould lend support. Cinematography is by Saloo George.

‘Thakkol’ would be edited by P C Mohanan. The film would be shot at locations in and around Cochin. This would in all probability be Anoop Menon’s next project as an actor. Anoop is also busy scripting for a few films like ‘Trivandrum Lodge’ and ‘A New York Saayahnam’.
