Arya to play Imran Khan’s role in ‘Delhi Belly’ Tamil version!
‘Delhi Belly’ is all set to be remade into Tamil by UTV Pictures, and Arya would be playing the role that Imran Khan essayed in the original film. R. Kannan who had directed hits like ‘ Jayam Kondein’ and ‘Kandein Kadhalai’ would be directing the Tamil version of the film.
Santhanam, who is getting popular by the day, would essay Kunaal Roy Kapur’s role in the Tamil film and Premgi will be seen in the role of Vir Das. Hansika Motwani and Anjali would play the two female lead roles in the film, while Nasser would be seen playing the baddie that was played by Vijay Raaz in the original film.
‘Delhi Belly’ that was directed by Abhinay Deo, was produced by Aamir Khan, and was a runway hit. The film starred Imran Khan, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Vir Das, Poorna Jagannathan and Shehnaz Treasurywaala in key roles. The recent ’3 Idiots’ Tamil version titled ‘Nanban’ made waves at the box office, and would it be the same when ‘Delhi Belly’ speaks Tamil? Watch this space!
