Reports have streamed in that actor – director Balachandra Menon would soon be making a comeback in a key role though Lal Jose’s new film ‘Emmanuel’.

‘Emmanuel’ stars Mammootty in the lead role, and he would play an employee of a publisher. As the publisher decides to close shop, Emmanuel and his family find their livelihood threatened.

The film has been scripted by newcomer A C Vijeesh. It has been almost nine years since Mammootty and Lal Jose worked together, except for the short film ‘Puramkazhchakal’, which was a short film that was part of the ‘Kerala Cafe’ anthology.
