Big B says his Hollywood debut role lasts just a few seconds!
Even as millions of fans of the legendary Indian actor Amitabh Bachchan eagerly wait for their icon’s Hollywood debut ‘The Great Gatsby’, Big B has revealed that his role lasts for a very short time, and that by the time they have some popcorn and look up at the screen again, he would be gone!
Amitabh wrote about his role in the ‘The Great Gatsby’ on his blog, but he does feature quite a bit in the trailer that has been released recently. Perhaps Bachchan Sr. is trying to keep the anticipations and excitement in check, with his blog revelations.
‘The Great Gatsby’ is an Amercian romantic drama film adaptation of writer F. Scott Fitzgerald’s 1925 novel The Great Gatsby. It will be directed by Baz Luhrmann, and will star Leonardo DiCaprio as Jay Gatsby, Carey Mulligan as Daisy Buchanan, Tobey Maguire as Nick Carraway, Amitabh Bachchan as Meyer Wolfsheim and Brendan Maclean as Klipspringer.
