The Chief Minister of Kerala, Umman Chandi paid actor Jagathy Sreekumar a visit at the MIMS hopsital, where the actor is recuperating after an accident. The honorable minister was on a visit to Wayanad, and found time to visit Jagathy as well, in view of the news that he would soon be shifted to Vellore.

It was earlier decided to move Jagathy to the Christian Medical College Hospital at Vellore, but the plans hadn’t materialised because the actor had developed fever. The doctors at MIMS informed the Chief Minister that there was satisfactory improvement in the actor’s health.

Jagathy was admitted to the hospital following an accident that happened at Kozhikode, when the car that he was travelling in rammed into a road divider at Panambra. Jagathy was travelling to the sets of ‘Idavappathy’, having completed the shoot of ‘Thiruvambadi Thamban’.
