Complaint lodged against Mammootty and Mohanlal

Submitted by on September 20, 2012 – 6:16 pmNo Comment | 213 views

A complaint has been lodged against the megastars of Malayalam cinema – Mammootty and Mohanlal – for having ridden bikes without wearing a helmet in their films ‘Thaapaana’ and ‘Run Baby Run’ respectively.

George John, a native of Kalamassery has complained to the Home Minister, Transport Secretary, Transport Commissioner, DGP and Cochin Deputy Police Commissioner against the makers of the films and the actors. The complaint has been registered against the Cochin Corporation Secretary as well, who had given permission to stick the posters of the film that depicted the two actors riding bikes without helmets.

Producer Milan Jaleel, who has produced both the films, has however stated that there is no relation whatsoever between real life and cinema. And as such, the complaint is baseless, feels the producer.
