Submitted by on November 2, 2012 – 11:25 amNo Comment |

The Delhi High Court, that had issued a warrant order against actor Prithviraj, for not appearing before it in connection with a legal petition that has been filed by Canadian singer Loreena McKennitt , has reportedly withdrawn the order, following the actor and the producer of the film Shaji Nadesan offering an apology.

The warrant was passed on to Trivandrum district court, and hence the actor’s lawyers have handed over the documents revealing the lift of the warrant to the local police station.

The case would again be considered by the court on the 4th of December. Loreena McKennitt has alleged that her music for ‘Caravanserai’ was used by music director Deepak Dev for a track in the film ‘Urumi, violating copyright laws. Santhosh Sivan, Prithviraj and Shaji Nadesan are the producers of the film.
