Govinda to make a comeback with ‘Avatar’
Pahlaj Nihalani, Bollywood producer who has been more like a mentor to actor Govinda is all set to turn director, and his directorial debut will feature none other than his favorite actor in the lead role. Titled ‘Avatar’, the film would relaunch Govinda into showbiz all over again.
Govinda who was one of the busiest actors in Bollywood in the 90′s had almost faded out into oblivion. Pahlaj Nihalani, it should be remembered is the producer of Govinda’s first box office hit ‘Ilzaam’. Ever since, the actor had danced his way into the hearts of Hindi film lovers through several comedies.
Govinda was recently seen in films like ‘Loot’ and ‘Naughty @40′. It was earlier expected that Govinda might return to the silver screen in a big way with a film that would be directed by his favorite director David Dhawan, but those plans never materialised. Now looks like it’s Avatar time for Govinda!
