I have total belief in my viewers: Dileep

Submitted by on May 4, 2012 – 10:46 pmNo Comment |

Actor Dileep has total belief in his viewers and says that its them that makes him work in films like ‘Mayamohini’. But he says that those within the film industry have always been hesitant to provide appreciation and have often ignored his hard work under the name of mimicry.

Dileep however adds that there has been plenty of support from within the industry as well. Jayaram was the first to ring him up after having watched Mohini, and Mohanlal soon followed. He said he had discussed a great deal about the character with Mammootty who had offered him valuable suggestions as well.

Among the directors Kamal and Hariharan were appreciative. Manju Warrier said that she had least expected it to be this good. ‘Mayamohini’ directed by Jose Thomas is running to packed houses across the state, and has been declared the biggest hit of the year already.
