I’d love to act in Malayalam films: Cheran
Tamil actor – director Cheran says that he would love to act in Malayalam films. Cheran says that he has received many offers from Malayalam, but had not agreed to do the roles, since the directors and scripts weren’t up to the mark. But he adds that if the right offer comes along, he would love to be a part of Malayalam cinema.
Cheran also revealed recently that he knows Mammootty personally, and had even planned to do a film with him, but things hadn’t worked out. Impressed by Mohanlal’s performance in ‘Bhramaram’, he had rung up Mohanlal to congratulate him as well.
Cheran is currently busy with the shooting of the film ‘Moonru Per Moonru Kaathal’. He says that he has fond memories of his trips to Trivandrum, and admits that he loves Kerala and Malayalis. The actor has directed ten films of which ‘Autograph’ is one of the most noteworthy ones.
