Jagathy Sreekumar gradually getting better!
Actor Jagathy Sreekumar who has been shifted to Vellore Hospital recently is gradually getting better, doctors said. Jagathy has already undergone three surgeries reportedly, and was moved to the hospital at Vellore on April 12, from the hospital at Kozhikode where he had undergone initial treatment.
Easily one of the most loved actors that Kerala has ever seen, Jagathy Sreekumar was admitted to the hospital following an accident that happened at Kozhikode, when the car that he was travelling in rammed into a road divider at Panambra. Jagathy was travelling to the sets of ‘Idavappathy’, having completed the shoot of ‘Thiruvambadi Thamban’.
Several Malayalam films that starred Jagathy have either been put on hold for a while, while some others have gone ahead with substitutes. ‘Thiruvambadi Thamban’ would be released without Jagathy’s original voice, while he has been replaced by Baburaj in the film ‘Mr. Marumakan’.
