Jayasurya moves beyond comic roles

Submitted by on September 16, 2012 – 10:13 pmNo Comment | 92 views

Jayasurya is an actor who has always been careful to experiment with diverse kind of roles, though his entry into Malayalam films was through comic roles. Whether it be in his hair style or appearance, the actor has always been extra careful to maintain a distinctiveness.

However, it remains that Jayasurya is still seen by many as a comic actor, and the actor would like to break off the image once and for all. His selection of roles seems to be pointing in this direction as well.

He would soon be seen doing the key role in the Shyamaprasad film ‘English’, and his film ‘Thanal Tharatha Marangal’ that would be directed by Dr. Biju would be a serious film as well. Another offbeat film of his, ‘Pigman’ is awaiting release.
