Submitted by on May 28, 2012 – 7:53 pmNo Comment | 362 views

There were news reports earlier that it might be Tamil director Linguswamy who might be directing Dulquar Salman, son of actor Mammootty,  in his maiden Tamil venture. However, looks like its ad makers JD and Jerry who have been entrusted with the task of launching Dulquar into Tamil films.

JD and Jerry have directed two films earlier; ‘Ullasam’ with Ajith and Vikram and ‘Whistle’. Their Dulquar film would in fact be a bilingual that would be simultaneously shot in Tamil and Malayalam. The film is expected to go on the floors sometime in July 2012.

Dulquar has just had one release in Malayalam, and had made a very modest start working with a bunch of newcomers. The film that was titled ‘Second Show’ however, was a runaway hit and the young actor is all ready with his second film now that has been titled ‘Usthad Hotel’ that has been directed by Anwar Rasheed and penned by Anjaly Menon.
