‘Malabar’ would tell an interesting tale: Anoop Menon

Submitted by on July 7, 2012 – 5:07 pmNo Comment |

Anoop Menon, whose story forms the basis of Ranjith’s script for his new film ‘Malabar’, says that the film would have an interesting tale to tell. The fact that Ranjith is the man who is behind the script makes ‘Malabar’ even more special for Anoop Menon.

In ‘Malabar’, Mammootty dons the lead role and would play a driver to the character that will be essayed by Anoop Menon.  Anoop says that Ranjith has always had a great influence on all actors, be it Mammootty, Mohanlal, Prithviraj or himself, and that the director has a clear cut idea as to what he wants from each scene.

Mammootty is currently busy with the shoot of ‘Jawan of Vellimala’ and would wrap up the Johny Antony film ‘Thaappaana’ as well, before he moves on to ‘Malabar’ with Anoop Menon in the film. G S Vijayan would direct the film.
