Mammootty with Sreenivasan in Anoop Kannan’s film
Anoop Kannan, who had worked with director Lal Jose in several films, turns independent director with an as yet untitled film that has Mammootty and Sreenivasan playing the lead roles. Sreenivasan, who is still receiving criticism for his latest film Padmasree Bharath Dr. Saroj Kumar, would play an engineer in the film.
Mammootty on the other hand would play a security officer, the leading character in the film, that would also have several other actors from the Malayalam industry playing key roles. The film is one of the most promising projects that Mammootty has signed up for, in 2012!
There have been several films in which Mammootty and Sreenivasan have been cast together, even before. Films like ‘Sreedharante Onnam Thirumurivu’, ‘Kalikkalam’, ‘Mazhayethum Munpe’, ‘Golantharavaartha’ and several other films comes to mind. We need to wait and see what Anoop comes up with, with two of the best actors in the industry.
