Shahrukh Khan, Bollywood superstar, turns 46 today. Balcony Beats wishes the actor many happy returns of the day!

Often referred to in the media as “Badshah of Bollywood”, “King Khan”, “King of Romance” and “The King of Bollywood”, Khan has acted in over 70 Hindi films in genres ranging from romantic dramas to action thrillers.

His eight Filmfare Best Actor Award wins make him the most awarded Bollywood actor of all time in that category, tied only with Dilip Kumar. In 2005, the Government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri for his contributions towards Indian cinema. He has been married to Indian film producer and interior designer, Gauri Khan since 1991, and together they have two children.
