As the ivory that was found during the income tax raids at Mohanlal’s house has snowballed into a huge controversy, the actor himself has come forward to offer a clarification. It’s learned that Mohanlal has made it clear that the ivory that was found at his house, was not his.

The actor was questioned by the Assistant Police Commissioner Bijo Alexander at Cochin. Mohanlal made it clear that the ivory was kept in safe custody at his house, by two friends of his, named P N Krishna Kumar and K Krishna Kumar, both of whom had a license to possess ivory.

It has been reported that Mohanlal was questioned by the police officials for close to two hours. The All Kerala Anti-Corruption and Human Rights Protection Council had recently sought the arrest of the actor as well.
