Nivin plays a young college boy named Vinod in the film.

The film is essentially a love story and, Vinod falls in love with a Muslim girl. The consequences of course are many and Nivin has moulded himself to bring about the characteristic features that this particular role demands. Accordingly, he looks very different from how he has appeared till now.

Nivin has, after ‘Malarvadi Arts Club’ done several films like ‘Traffic’, ‘The Metro’, ‘Spanish Masala’ and ‘Sevens’ and would be finishing off ‘Thattathin Marayathu’ in a single schedule. The young actor has a few very promising projects lined up his sleeve.
