Prashant Narayanan impresses the ‘Edavapathi’ unit!
Lenin Rajendran had a special role in his new film ‘Edavapathi’ that he had bookmarked for actor Jagathy Sreekumar, since he thought Jagathy was the only actor who could do justice to this very special role. It was with a great shock that Rajendran came to know of the unfortunate accident that the actor had.
Though he was willing to wait for some time for Jagathy, it seemed unlikely that he would be returning to screen in the immediate future. Hence when the shoot of ‘Edavapthi’ commenced Lenin Rajendran started looking out for another actor who could replace Jagathy.
It was then that he came across Prashant Narayanan, renowned actor who had impressed all and sundry with his performance in the Siby Malayil film ‘Unnam’. Prashant has also bee seen in several other films as Chhal, Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part II, Shadows of Time, Bombil and Beatrice, Via Darjeeling and Murder 2. Prashant has been reported to have done an awesome job in ‘Edavapathi’ that has stunned the entire unit.
