Rajeev Pillai turns Superstar; Saiju Kurup turns his fan!
Rajeev Pillai, the actor – model who has been seen in films like ‘City of God’ will play the main lead in a film that has been titled ‘My Fan Ramu’, that would be directed by debutante director Nikhil. Reportedly Rajeev Pillai would play a superstar in the film, while Saiju Kurup would play a hardcore fan of his!
Rajeev has already acted in a few Malayalam films like ‘Anwar’, ‘Bombay March 12′, ‘Tejabhai and Family, and ‘London Dreams’. However it was his performance as a cricket player in the Kerala Strikers team that had brought him under the limelight.
Professionally a dentist, Rajeev is a well known model who is quite popular at the Lakme Fashion week, the Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week and then the Couture Week as well. He has also walked on the ramps for Tommy Hilfiger and for designers such as Abhishek Dutta, Chaitanya Rao, Digvijay Singh, Varun Bahl, Arjun Khanna, and Karan Johar.
