Ranjith gets Bappootty ready for Mammootty!

Submitted by on June 28, 2012 – 8:01 pmNo Comment |

Director Ranjith, who has just had a release with Mohanlal’s ‘Spirit’ is busy scripting his next film that has been titled ‘Malabar’. This film however, will be directed not by Ranjith himself, but by director G S Vijayan, who had directed films like ‘Charithram.’

Mammootty would play the role of a car driver by the name of Bappootty in the film. The man, who hails from Kozhikode, is one who lives in the present, neither disappointed by a past that failed to keep its promises, nor daunted by an unsure future!

Anoop Menon would play a significant role in the film. ‘Malabar’ would be produced by George, who is Mammootty’s personal assistant. When Mammootty and Ranjith join hands again after ‘Pranchiyettan and the Saint’, expectations are naturally quiet huge.
