Salam Palapetty to direct Mohanlal for ‘Red Wine’

Submitted by on October 31, 2012 – 5:51 amNo Comment |

Looks like Lal Jose’s disciples are making a beeline to turn independent these days. Anoop Kannan, one of Lal Jose’s long time associate directors, had recently made his directorial debut with Mammootty’s ‘Jawan of Vellimala’.

We now hear that Salam Palapetty, another young director who had been associating with Lal Jose for a while now, is all set to turn independent. Salam would be directing Mohanlal in his debut independent venture, while Asif Ali and Fahad Fazil would lend support.

‘Red Wine’ would be scripted by Mammen K Rajan, and would be produced under the banner of Gauri Meenakshi Productions. The shoot of the film, which would start by December, would be held at locations at Wayanad and Kozhikode.
