Submitted by on April 27, 2012 – 4:32 pmNo Comment |

News reports have been pouring in that have suggested that a sequel to ‘Mr. India’, Shekhar Kapoor science fiction thriller that released in 1987, is being planned. While there have been no official confirmations as such, rumours regarding the cast of the sequel have started doing the rounds!

Its learned that Boney Kapoor’s son Arjun Kapoor would play the lead role in the sequel, that would also have Anil Kapoor and Sridevi playing key roles. But the real scoop is that Salman Khan might be roped in to play the baddie in the film that is being planned as a 2014 release. It would indeed be great fun to see Salman saying, “Mogambo Khush Hua!”, and for a change, we might have a Mogambo with six pack abs.

The expected budget of the film is said to be around 150 crores INR. The film would be shot in 3D. There have also been reports that a 3D version of the original film would also be released in 3D before the sequel makes it to the screens. Whatever be the case, looks like its Superhero time again in Bollywood!
