Mammootty has been going through some times career wise, but the actor has been known to bounce back from such lean phases with a vengeance.

Several promisning projects with leading directors are being planned, one of which is ‘Emmanuel’ that would be directed by ace director Lal Jose.

The director, who is currently on a successful run, having delivered two hits in the years already – ‘Diamond Necklace’ and ‘Ayalum Njanum Thammil’ – is expected to bring about a change in Mammootty’s fortunes. The shoot of the film is expected to start by the end of the year.
