Yale Chubb Fellow, that’s what Shahrukh Khan is!
Bollywood King Khan Shah Rukh Khan has a huge honor coming his way! The superstar will join the list of Yale University’s Chubb Fellows, which is in fact one of the Ivy League institution’s highest honours. This honor has been awarded to the actor for promoting human ideals through art.
Presidents like George W. Bush, Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter, writers as Octavio Paz, Carlos Fuentes and Toni Morrison, the renowned filmmaker Sofia Coppola, architect Frank Gehry, choreographer Mikhail Baryshnikov, journalist Walter Cronkite – these are the names of some eminent personalities who have been presented with the honor before.
Shahrukh would accept the honor in a gala event that has been scheduled for the 12th of April. On the occasion he would speak to the Yale community and to the general gathering. Easily one of the most popular actors in India, Shahrukh Khan has millions of fans worldwide.
