A teary Swetha Menon bids an emotional farewell to her television show!

Submitted by on August 18, 2012 – 9:37 amNo Comment |

For perhaps the first time in the history of Indian television, a heavily pregnant host was seen off for her delivery by the contestants! Swetha Menon, who has been successfully hosting the show ‘Veruthe Alla Bharya’ on Mazhavil Manorama was the one who bade farewell to the show the other day.

Swetha’s pregnancy had become the reason for celebration on the show, and contestants from the first and second seasons of the show, joined together with songs and dances to express their joy on the occasion. Some of them even brought gifts for their favorite host!

Swetha clearly looked overwhelmed by the proceedings and got teary at the immense affection that was being showered on her. And what’s more, the show ended with a delightful package making its entry, out of which emerged none other than Rimi Tomy, who would take over as host of the show.
