All over a leg: Jolie-ying Catches on like Wild Fire
Ever since Angelina Jolie’s bare leg created havoc at the Academy Awards, there has been non end to the discussions that followed both in the real and virtual world. Jolie attended the Oscars on Sunday in a black Atelier Versace dress with a daring slit, and had dared to flash her leg.
People have been busy discussing the ‘motivation’ of the actress being the pose, and it has also become the subject of many jokes. Some even commented that she was “dangerously malnourished”. Some others wondered why the actress had done so, suggesting that “it was completely out of character for her.”
They have even coined a term called ‘Jolie-ying’ and just the other day, actress Veena Malik ‘Jolied’ at a fashion event. Social media networks were having a ball too with several users imitating the Jolie look. There were even TV shows that joined in the leg bombing. Such a hue and cry over a leg…Phew!
